Data collected

Core journal use does not require a Quietline account. Entries, notes, vault items, family, pet and money records are stored on your device unless you opt into backup or a hosted plan.

Local storage

The app’s on-device database and app-private media folders.

Google Drive

If you connect Drive, a backup folder such as MyLifeBackup/ is created on your Google account. Quietline does not receive that Drive as a shared owner dump.

Hosted storage

Paid hosted plans may store compressed, account-scoped files with a cloud provider (for example Cloudflare R2 or Backblaze B2). A small account record may use Firebase Authentication and related metadata.

Firebase services

May include Authentication, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config, Crashlytics — configured so journal text, vault contents, credentials, money descriptions and pet health notes are not sent as analytics payloads.

Advertising

Free users may see Google AdMob ads. Paid/tester/owner builds do not initialize ads. Google may receive device and ad activity as described in Google’s policies.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Google Play. Quietline receives purchase status, not your full payment card number.

Pet data & Money & Deals

These are personal organization records you enter. They are not veterinary, medical, banking or tax services.

Security

Vault items are encrypted on device. We cannot reset a lost vault recovery secret. No software is guaranteed unbreakable.

Retention & deletion

Local data remains until you delete the app data. Drive backups remain until you delete them. Hosted account deletion is requested via Account Deletion and may require identity verification. Processing may not be instantaneous.

Children

My Life is intended for adults unless a later listing says otherwise.
